This landmark recording, presenting the hardest of Lee Perry's contemporary rhythms in their purest form. The album surfaced in the summer of 1973 in a pressing of only 300 copies, 100 of which were brought up to London. Unlike the subsequent reissues of this disc as Blackboard Jungle Dub, which comprised only 12 songs that had been re-sequenced and altered, this record collected 14 songs, all mixed in stereo with definite channel separation where the rhythm track is in one channel and solo instruments or percussion drift in and out of the other.
